I live in Charlotte now but did live in Boone for a long time. A local Watauga resident was kind enough to show me some of the best hiking trails. No kids, but
now have the urge to repeat my adventures and share the wonders with deserving people. It would be best if you are able to do strenuous hikes but I know plenty of novice ones as well. My main area of expertise is the Blue ridge in NW North Carolina around the TN and VA borders. Cheers!
