Ik beschrijf mezelf als:

I am 36 years old and have 3 kids. I was medically retired from the military for an injury sustained in Iraq. I started hiking as a form of mental and physical rehabilitation. I didn’t think that I would ever be able to go out and do anything outdoors ever again. With this second chance, I want to live my best life. I’m ready to start making some really great memories. Memories are so much better when you have someone to share them with.
I aspire to start backpacking. I am really interested in hiking/backpacking portions of the major trails in the US. Maybe one day complete a thru hike of the PCT or AT. I’d like to find someone that shares the same passion for hiking/backpacking that is looking for a companion in their journey as well. The journey awaits.
