I Would Describe Myself As

I have a wide variety of interests and consider myself a curious explorer of places, pastimes and ideas. However, I am most at peace in the wild, unspoiled places of the world: A mountain peak or alpine meadow, a remote west coast beach, a northern river. My chosen vehicles of explorations naturally follow this theme and include a various craft for: paddling, ski touring, surfing as well as hiking.
While my career and personal explorations have taken me to many parts of the world, I still find the most pleasure in my own (Canadian) back yard. – We live in a very special place in the world !!
A few of my other “favourite things” include: My friends, playing with ideas and musing on “life the universe and everything”, playing at cooking, full bodied red wine, photography and my dog Gryphon.
Most importantly, I would like to find a travelling companion for sharing fun, adventures and explorations since sharing experiences and love are what bring real meaning to life.
